The 2006 Season is well under way and Doug Carpenter Racing is once again off to a great start.  Check the current point standings and the weekly race results on the Fox River Racing Club website. 

ABOUT THE DRIVER
Doug is a 2nd generation driver.  He began his career in 1983 driving in the Sportsman Division at Wisconsin International Raceway.  Doug is now in his 23rd year of racing and continues to race in what is now known as the Limited Late Model division at WIR. 

Moving from the 1/4 mile track to the 1/2 mile track in 2002 has been a challenge for the team.  More room to race and more time for reaction has made racing on the 1/2 mile track more exciting for Doug. 

Some of Doug's career highlights include 6 feature wins since 1992.  One feature win was the same night brother, Dan, won the semi-feature. 

Racing has always been fun for Doug.  He will continue to do so as long as he can afford to!
