(4-28-02) Slinger Speedway postpones the season opener again due to weather Make up date is July 3rd.  Season Opening Al Schill Jr Memorial May 5th

(5-5-02) Slinger Speedway opener was bittersweet.  After one of his strongest performances to date,Dennis Prunty was deemed too lite at the scales.Dennis' brother David took the feature win.

(5-12-02)Slinger Speedway Rained out

(5-15-02) (Slinger) Dennis has a good run from the rear chew his tires up and leave him with a 20th and 16th place finish in the twin 50's 

(5-19-02) Slinger Speedway Alan Kulwicki night,Dennis and his DDP Team end up 1 car short of the main event,taking 3rd in the semi feature.

(5-26-02) Slinger Speedway Memorial 80..Dennis takes 13th in the 80 lapper

(6-2-02) Slinger Speedway...Dennis misses the feature cut by time,yet advances to the 80 lap main via a second place in the semi feature,and followed with a 14th in the main event

(6-9-02) Slinger Speedway..A strong qualifying run is forgotten after a hard crash in 3-4 after contact with the 55 car..and the night is a short one with a 20th place

(6-16-02)Slinger Speedway fathers day special,Dennis and his DDP Motorsports Team qualify strong in 4th,6th in the fast dash and 17th in the Feature.

(6-23-02) Slinger Speedway Dennis takes 7th in time,2nd in the dash and 16th in the feature event Dennis and the DDP team are 20th in the standings..after missing 1 event plus a DQ opening night

(6-30-02) SLINGER SPEEDWAY Fireworks Night Dennis has a bad night in timing,but ends up in the winners circle winning the 30 lap semi feature.  Make sure to stop and see Dennis after the races and get your new DDP Speed Card 

(7-3-02) Slinger Speedway rescheduled season opener..Dennis times in 3rd,and takes 10th in the first 75 lap feature,and follows that up with a 8th place in the nightcap!!

(7-7-02)SLINGER SPEEDWAY Dennis and the DDP gang time in well at 6th,take a 5th place in the dash,and end up 11th in the 65 lap feature.Dennis moved up another spot to 19th in the standings..just 113 points away from the top 10

(7-14-02)Slinger Speedway. After a sleepless 48 hrs due to a fire at Driver and Crew Chief Dennis and Dan Prunty's employer,the DDP gang made their way to Slinger Speedway and had an off night with a 23rd in time and a 5th in the semi feature.

(7-21-02)Slinger Speedway Dennis takes 6th in the semi feature on a sweltering night at The Speedway. The DDP Gang now prepares to improve upon last years Slinger Nationals Finish this tuesday evening July 23rd

(7-23-02) Slinger Speedway. Dennis started out the night 7th quick in time,and raced the 200 lap main against the best in the bizz...ending up 11th in the event. 

(7-28-02) Slinger Speedway. On a hot summer night,Dennis and the DDP gang time in 5th,take 4th in the dash and end up 13th in the feature

(8-4-02) Slinger Speedway.Dennis has a good night at the racetrack,qualifies 4th. Then in the fast dash he takes 5th,and ends the night with a 9th in the 65 lap main. Dennis moved up 4 spots to 16th in the point standings.

(8-11-02) Slinger Speedway.Dennis has a good night at the track,even after getting sent to the back of the 60 lap main.He started out timing in 6th,3rd in the dash and an 8th place finish in the nightcap. 

(8-18-02) Slinger Speedway.Dennis just missed the main by time..started deep in the 30 lap semi feature and ended up 2nd. In the 65 lap main,Dennis started dead last and advanced to 14th with 30 more laps on his tires than his competitors. Watch for news on some end of year specials Dennis will compete at.

(8-25-02) SLINGER SPEEDWAY..Dennis and the DDP Gang time in 12th,start deep in the feature and end the night 8th in the main. Preliminary plans are for the 42 car to be at the DELLS this saturday night. 

(9-1-02) SLINGER SPEEDWAY. Dennis and crew have a good night at the raceway, timing in 14th and finishing the 100 lap main in 11th place.The team stands 16th in points.

(9-8-02) Slinger Speedway. The 42 car and crew time in 14th,starting in the rear of the 60 lap main,and while coming up to the front,contact with the 55 car negated a strong run, ending up the night 18th.

(9-15-02) SLINGER Speedway.....YEAH!!! Dennis finally wins his first Super Late Model Feature..and picks a great night to do it besting 2002 champ Lowell Bennett in the season ending 75 lapper.Dennis started out on the pole and had to survive a  late race restart to best the 2 car and haul off the hardware.Dennis thanks all of his sponsors,family and crew for their support and tells you to stay tuned for post season news and possible races to be run!

(9-28-02) DELLS Motor Speedway .Dennis didn't get an entry in for the big 250, but he did secure a ride in the 17 Modified..actually his brother Dales backup car. Dennis qualified 11th..took 3rd in his heat and was moving up when his rear end burned up and his day was over..finishing 14th in the 50 lapper that was won by his car owner Dale "one groove" Prunty.  Watch for off-season news and more pics of the 2002 season!
