October 7th – 9th; La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway - Dennis hauled the Port a John / Marchant Schmidt #42 car to La Crosse for Octoberfest weekend, a party disguised as a race event. This was a learning experience as the DDP team had never raced the 5/8 mile flat raceway. On Friday, the CWRA late model event was on the card, and timing was a bit slow, so we ran a qualifier, which we won to get into the feature. In the main we tried a different set-up and it wasn't great so we toiled in the rear of the field, but got laps none the less.  Sunday we had to race into the ARTGO 100 lapper, qualifying 1or 2 in the race would mean a start in the 100 lapper, but we took 3rd and loaded up early. The event drew 60+ super late models from the midwest including retired drivers that ran ARTGO in the 40's and 50's.  Dennis will have more on his 2006 plans within the next month, stay tuned and have a great off season!

(9-20-05) Lomira, WI. Dennis Prunty will be racing the Octoberfest special at Lacrosse Fairgrounds October 8-9th.  “This will mark the return of the straight frame rail car to a big super late model race at Fest,” ARTGO

President John McKarns announced. McKarns who now resides in Florida, also is president of  MotorSports  Management Services which holds the lease on the speedway. The century run will pay $4000.00 to the winner and $400.00 to start.

(9-11-05) Slinger Speedway. What a bummer. Dennis started outside front row and was running in 3rd when a backmarker spun, then collected the front of the field. The 42 car was placed in 2nd after the mess, but damage inflicted was too bad to have a fast car, and 12th was the result. We finish 7th in points.  We will post any end of year specials asap. Thanks fans and sponsors for a great 2005 season!

(9-4-05)Slinger Speedway. Port a John night at Slinger, 100 laps, fireworks and alot of cars and fans.  In timing Dennis was 2nd quick with an 11.465. A 6th in the fast dash was a tune-up for the big race.  In the main, Dennis had tire issues and his stagger was more suited for a dirt late model and he actually looked like Billy Moyer for a few laps, but he backed off and cooled the Hoosiers, settling for a 8th place finish. Dennis sits 6th in points with 1 race to go. We will announce any year end specials next week.

(8-28-05) Slinger Speedway. Behling Race Equipment night at Slinger, complete with the Race of Champions. Dennis claws his way to a 7th in the 60 lapper, follows that up with 9th in the Race of champions, and moves up 1 spot to 6th in points heading into the Port a John Labor Day special, 100 lap feature and wild fireworks, come on out and cheer the #42 car, you don't have to work Monday!

(8-21-05) Slinger Speedway. Reigning Coca Cola champion Dennis Prunty had a early night at the raceway as he started out in a familiar place winning the fast dash, but mechanical gremlins caught the 42 car and a dnf in the first 50 lapper and a DNS in race 2. Dennis sits 7th in season points.

(8-14-05) Slinger Speedway. Dennis has another good night at Slinger, starting out with another fast dash win. In the main, a move to the front was blocked as a slow car cost Dennis all of his progress, so he did it again and as the checker's flew, a 5th place finish was the result. DDP sits 6th in points.

(8-13-05) Wisconsin International Raceway. RWB Series, Dennis times in 2 cars away from the main event, so a qualifier was needed and the 42 was 1 car short. Dennis then ran the B main and finished in 2nd place at the D shaped 1/2 mile.

(8-7-05) Slinger Speedway DDP Motorsports enters week #2 of their probation period at Slinger, and Dennis starts out 9th in time with an 11.561. In the main, and early battle with Al Schill was finally won by the 14 car. As the race wore on, Lowell Bennett got inside the 42 car and a battle was on. All of a sudden the 2 car drifted up spinning the Prunty machine and the end result 17th and 7th in points.

(8-5-05) Madison International Speedway. Dennis hauled the 42 car to Madison to get the carbon off the plugs, and had a decent run winning a heat race and taking 5th in the 40 lapper.

(7-24-05) Slinger Speedway. Ritter 75 at Slinger, and Dennis starts out in victory lane winning the fast dash. In the 75 lap main, a torrid battle with brother David Prunty was deemed too torrid and track officials black flagged the #42 car, thus a 18th place finish and 7th in points.

(7-17-05) Slinger Speedway. Dennis started out 2nd quick with an 11.514. After a 6th in the dash, the Drywall Distributor 75 was ahead, but 20 laps before the checkered something gave up in the DDP Powerplant forcing an early exit and 19th out of 20 cars.

(7-13-05) Slinger Nationals DDP Motorsports took 5th in timing for the Slinger 250 lapper. In the main event alot of dicing and hard racing resulted in a 6th place finish in the star studded event.

(7-10-05) Slinger Speedway. In a tune-up for the Slinger Nationals, it was a rough night for the #42 team as contact with the #2 car and alot of yellows result in a 17th in the main and we slid to 5th in points. Slinger Nationals this Tuesday.

(7-3-05) Slinger Speedway. DDP Motorsports got their motor done, the familiar 42 car is back, and man, she was fast Sunday and Dennis timed in 3rd with an 11.332.
