
(1-2-03) Chris has been hard at work re-skinning the Taurus to race at Slinger,the DELLS
and selected other events.
He also has purchased his fathers old modified,and is getting it done for the Milwaukee
motorsports show at the state fair park the first weekend in february.
The old mod as Rapid Robert raced it..and bringing it back home to a full restoration!

(4-15-03) Chris and the gang took the 25 car to the Columbus practice getting prepared for
the May 4th WCS Spring Fling,and were pleased with the results.Look for more info on the
Rat21 Racing teams plans for the upcoming weeks..including a few Mod Races.
(4-27-03) Slinger Super Speedway Chris and the Rat21 Racing team take to the shaved not
paved 1/4 mile oval,start out 19th in time,battle to a 14th place in the first of 2 races,and faded
to a 20th in the second 75 lapper.Weekly Racing starts May 5th!
(5-5-03) Chris split his sunday between Columbus and Slinger Speedway.
In the afternoon...Chris took the Bitzan/Ratajczyk 21 car to the 151 speedway for the WCS 100.
In the event,38 of Wisconsin's finest timed in,and Chris was 20th,which meant a qualifier was to be run.
In the 30 lap event,Chris advanced 1 spot to 4th,but a race long battle with the 17 car meant he was 1
spot short of the 100 lapper,and a early departure for Slinger.

At Slinger,Chris took the Boucher Taurus to a 8th in time of 11.323,a win in the fast dash,and a 5th in the 65
lap main event. Chris sits 5th in points.
(5-11-03) Races cancelled due to weather...see you on the 18th!
(5-18-03) Slinger Speedway AK 75 special, and Chris and the 21 team time in at 11.449 and charge to a 9th place finish
in the feature..he also sits 5th in season points.
(5-25-03) Rat hauls the Gordie Boucher Taurus to the Slinger Speedway for the EH Wolf night,and times in at 11.535,
and in the 80 lap main,finishes 10th. He sits 8th in points,78 points behind leader David Prunty
(6-1-03) Slinger and the Al Schill Jr memorial,Chris times in 12th with an 11.444,and in the 70 lap main,after a battle
with the 13 car and another car cutting him off as it came out of the infield,he managed a 8th place finish,9th in points.
(6-8-03) Slinger Speedway cancels the program tonight due to storms in the area....watch for news on Vontage
Modified show upcoming.
(6-14-03) Chris would like to announce some upcoming special's with his father's restored Modified.
He will be at Hale's Corners June 22nd from 11-3 with many of the vintage mod's,and they will be on track
with the old timers taking some laps.
On June 26th,Rat will haul the mod to the State Fair Park for the March of Dime's show during the Nascar
weekend from 5-9
(6-15-03) Slinger Super Speedway Chris times in 10th with an 11.543,and in probably his best run in

recent memory,passes Lowell Bennett and leads for 16 laps until Lowell and David Prunty pass Chris
and he settles for 3rd in the 65 lap grind.He sits 7th in points with 222 Points
(6-22-03) Hales Corners and Slinger Speedway. A busy day for Chris and the 21 team....after "playing"
with the restored Modified at Hales Corners,it was back to work at Slinger. Rat timed in16th,which meant
starting deep in the 20 car field,but a great set up and some smooth driving netted him a 6th in the 75 lap main,
and he moves up to a solid 5th in points.
(6-29-03) Every good race team has an off night..and Tonight at Slinger Speedway Chris and the Rat 21
team had a tough night,qualifying 15th,raced thru the field only to get tangled up with someone elses crash,
sent to the rear and getting tangled up in a crash in turn 4...the result....16th in the main and slid to 6th in points.
(7-6-03) Slinger Speedway...Mid Season Races..Chris steers the 21 car to 11th in time,and in the 65 lap main,
a charge to the front was thwarted when a malfunction in the apparatie created a bad steering issue and Chris
had to end the night early with a 19th in the main and slid to 9th in points.
(7-13-03) SLINGER SPEEDWAY. Chris cracks a great lap in timing,9th with an 11.601!! In the 50 lap main,.
Chris Passes Nathan Haselsu for the lead and paces the stellar field for 21 laps before Lowell Bennett passes

him and he then battles with Eric Fransen,Brad Mueller and Rich Loch,and when it was over,Rat finishes 4th
in a great run by the 21 team.They now sit 9th in points in the second half of the 2003 season.
(7-20-03) Slinger Speedway. After a saturday night playing with the mod at Plymouth,Rat hauls the Boucher
Taurus to Boucher night at the races.He times in 11th with an 11.513,and in the 60 lap main,hooks up and takes
the lead from Ryan Matthews until lap 18 when Al Schill passes high,Chris repasses Al but the 14 car was too much

and Chris battled in a 5 car pack the rest of the way to a 5th place finish and sits 8th in points.
Rat will be driving the 21X car,a car originally for his nephew to race,but poor grades in school,his nephew
had to attend summer school...so he will race it tuesday at the Nationals.
(7-22-03) Slinger Nationals. Chris hauled the 21X test car to the Slinger Nationals and had mixed results.
The test engine had good bottom end but lacked at the end,the German shocks were outstanding,and
in the end,the Rat Racing team learned alot to use on the Taurus for the weekly shows.

(7-27-03) Slinger Speedway. Back with the Taurus to the weekly point chase,and a strong season
payed off tonight as Chris used his "provisional" to get into the 60 lap main as he timed in 19th.
In the main,Chris made some chassis changes from timing and passed 10 cars to finish 10th.
He sits 8th in points heading into August.
(8-3-03) Slinger Speedway. On a night Chris and the 21 team were looking forward to....rain cancells
the Hartman Well Drilling 65
(8-7-03) Chris got to play with dad's old mod at Luxemburg's 1/3 mile with about other restored Mods.

(8-10-03) Slinger Speedway Coca Cola Twin 50's,Chris times in 9th quick,bolts into the lead in the

first 50 lapper trading it with Al Schill until Albert finally secures it and Chris slipped but recovered
to finish 6th,and in the 50 lap nightcap,a flat tire/Bad Bleeder /apparatis results in an 18th place finish.
Rat sits 7th in points.
(8-17-03) Slinger Speedway. Rat starts out 15th in time,which means starting 15th in the stellar 20
car 75 lap main.Chris charges to the front,makes it as far as7th and gets held up by battling cars,
and could advance no further.We'll straighten the interior and be back next sunday...7th in points.
(8-24-03) Slinger Speedway. After a night of watching cars without starters,Rat has his Car
Hauled to the fast 1/4 mile and starts out 13th in time,which means inverted start.He moves up to
8th,and contact between he and the 75 causes track officials to relegate Chris to last.He then comes
back and finishes 13th,retains 7th in points,but by only 1 over Dennis Prunty.
(8-31-03) Slinger Speedway. Port a John Night,100 lapper,fireworks,oil ..what a night.Chris times in
18th with an 11.535,starts in the second to last row and moves up,gets tagged hard yet recovers,has
oil spewed all over his car to the point where he cannot see,and after all is done,finishes 11th in the
100 lap main,but loses his grip on 7th in points,falling to 8th with 2 weeks to go.
Will the weapons be black flagged in the pits?? Stay Tuned!!
(9-7-03) SLINGER Speedway. Rat takes delivery of the 21 Boucher Taurus after a night where he was
given a humanatarian award for his work with shut in's and the Homeless.In the second to last night of racing,
Chris starts out 14th in time,and follows that up with a 10th in the 60 lap main.In the race of champions,Rat
moved up but was shuffled back to9th,a place he gladly held to keep his car in 1 piece for the finale next
week.Chris will also be going to the Dells as an advisor for the up and coming Dave Teske this Saturday.
(9-14-03) SLINGER Speedway season finale.Chris starts out the night 19th in time,and this means Semi
feature.He charges to the front,but a battle between 2 lapped cars makes it a slow ride and the end result,
5th in the semi,no transfer to the main and an early night.On a good note,the Rat 21 team finished 10th
in the season point battle,the highest point total ever in the Supers for Mr Ratajczyk!!!

(1-10-04) Washington County FairPark. Rat and the 21 team headed to the Slinger awards banquet and
recieved their point fund check,some cool soft drinks and had a great time celabrating with all the drivers.
