(10-1-07) West Bend, WI. Chris just wanted to say hi and he is busy with Kasten Motorsports plus his rigorous Physical

Workout schedule.

(9-16-07) Slinger Speedway. TD Development driver Trevor Dassow has been racing the Ratajczyk Racing

Howe car, last weekend at the Dells and this weekend at Slinger, Posting a top 10 at the latter with a smooth

maiden voyage. Chris' employer Becca also looked great holding off a 40 year racing vet for 7th.

Rat has lost 44 pounds and no, he is not sick, he is trying to get back to his svelt all conference physical

presence.

(9-9-07) Slinger Speedway. 9th in time and 2nd in the main means 2nd in points.

Congrats to Jon Reynolds Jr on your Championship.

(9-2-07) Slinger Speedway. Chris has a solid night at Slinger with 2nd in time, 3rd in the Fast Dash and

2nd in the Feature. We sit 120 points behind Jon Reynold's Jr with a week to go, 2nd ain't bad..is it?

(8-26-07) Slinger Speedway. I am so mad, as a webmaster and a fan, that the LLM race wasn't restarted

that i won't even waste my time with a report, take care, see you next week.

(8-19-07) Slinger Speedway Rained out, making it tougher for the Ratajczyk Racing Team to catch the 10 car in the

standings. We spent our off night picking up night crawlers and selling them curbside, making 11 dollars that we will

use to buy matching team tube socks from Wal Mart. They just got in Blue Striped socks that will accent our 1999

team Tee's, and compliment Rat's 12 year old racing shoes. Look for Chris in the pits at Milwaukee this weekend.

(8-12-07) Slinger Speedway

Jon Reynolds Jr. took home top honors in the limited late model feature that finished under caution with 18 laps in the books.

Jerry Eckhardt and Ryan DeStefano traded the lead in the opening laps before Eckhardt was able to take sole possession of the spot by lap five. A spin by Mike Schmitz in turn four on lap six slowed the event under the caution flag with Eckhardt leading DeStefano, Corey Funk, Chris Blawat, and Steve Apel. As racing resumed, Eckhardt continued to lead as Funk raced his way into second place and Apel charged forward into third. Behind the leaders, Reynolds was beginning to slice his way towards the front, entering the top five by lap nine. Several single car spins strung out the field and the caution flag appeared again when Blawat and DeStefano tangled in turn four. As the green flag reappeared, Funk and Reynolds used the outside lane to charge around Eckhardt and into first and second place respectively on lap ten. One lap later, Reynolds worked his way around Funk to grab the lead while Eckhardt held onto third and Apel raced with Rob Braun and Scott Ascher for the fourth spot. On lap 13, Braun’s car got out of shape exiting turn two and as he attempted to save it, the front of the car clipped Apel in the right rear, nosing Apel’s car hard into the turn three wall as the yellow flag waved. Reynolds maintained the lead on the restart over Eckhardt as Chris Ratajczyk raced into third just in front of Funk and a hard charging Chris Purdy. As the white flag waved over Reynolds and Eckhardt, Purdy made contact with Ratajczyk, touching off a multi-car incident in turn four, effectively ending the race under the caution flag. Reynolds took the win over Eckhardt with Ratajczyk, Scott Ascher, and Funk rounding out the top five.

Ratajczyk Racing sits 48 points out of the lead in 2nd.

(8-6-07) West Bend, WI. Ratajczyk Racing CEO and hauler cleaner Chris Ratajczyk was noticeably tired

Monday at the Rat Racing World Headquarters.

"Worked 21 days straight" noted the LLM chauffer, "Becca, my new boss, has me doing squat thrusts and cardio

as a requirement of my new gig".

10 pounds off Chris is barely noticeable, but the next 10, who knows... Rat's still got it.

(8-5-07) Slinger Speedway. Rain hit and we headed home early to enjoy togetherness and a few bottles of Dasani.

(7-22-07) Slinger Speedway. Chris sits 40 points out of 1st place heading into the home stretch.

Jon Reynolds Jr. took to the high groove to win the 30-lap limited late model feature.

Chris Ratajczyk paced the opening laps over Josh Wallace and Steve Apel while David McCardle raced

with Rob Braun and Reynolds close behind them. Reynolds was able to race his way into fourth place by

lap five and used the upper groove to charge into second five laps later. By lap 15, Reynolds closed the

distance between himself and Ratajczyk for the lead and began to work the outside in a bid to get by.

Reynolds pulled alongside Ratajczyk on lap 18 and with Ratajczyk pinned on the inside just enough to

prevent a good run off the corner, Reynolds advanced to the lead as they exited turn two. Once out

front, Reynolds was never seriously challenged and he drove to the win over Ratajczyk while Josh

Wallace finished in third place. Steve Apel and Rob Braun rounded out the top five finishers.

In earlier action, Ratajczyk scored the win in the limited late model fast dash and Reynolds led qualifying at 12.271 seconds.

(7-15-07) Slinger Speedway. Christopher and his Posse...ooops.. i spilled my beer...i'll finish later

(7-8-07) Slinger Speedway. Christmas in July?? Hardly, it was hot, we played under the sprinkler at home as

long as we could til we hauled off to the track, and timed in 6th and took 4th in the feature. We sit 2nd in points.

(7-1-07) Slinger Speedway. After a tough time coming back to America (Canadian Customs checks EVERYTHING)

Chris and the 21 team looked to the Keith's Marina Fireworks Special at Slinger.

A poor qualifying effort (16th) forced Rat to start deep in the 23 car field. Then, we got caught up in a big wreck and the

damage caused us to lose a lap and finish 19th with a lot of work to complete this week.

(6-24-07) Slinger Speedway Go ARMY Night.

Chris Ratajczyk took command of the 30-lap limited late model feature just before the halfway mark and went on to drive to the victory.

Corey Funk led at the green flag while Ratajczyk battled Jerry Eckhardt, Tyler Jame, and Jon Reynolds Jr. for track position behind the leader. As Funk led, Eckhardt’s car became momentarily crossed up on the backstretch on lap eight and as he caught the car, Ratajczyk moved into sole possession of second place. Eckhardt’s adventure cost James two spots as he slowed to avoid an accident and the race remained green. Ratajczyk tracked down Funk for the lead, passing by on lap 14 to take command of the race. A minor tangle in turn one involving Bill Shavlik, Jeff Graf, and Ryan DeStefano brought out the lone caution flag of the race on lap 17 with Ratajczky leading Funk, Eckhardt, James, and Reynolds. Ratajczyk took off on the restart as Funk became caught in the upper groove and Eckhardt, James, and Reynolds all went by. Ratajczyk was never headed from there and he drove to the win over Eckhardt and Reynolds. James finished in fourth place while Dan Jung broke free of traffic late in the race to advance to fifth place at the checkers

(6-17-07) Slinger Speedway Reunion Night. 3rd in time 2nd in the Dash 3rd in the feature.

Dan Jung took the lead from Tyler James while working lapped traffic and went on to win the 35-lap limited late model feature.

James paced the field at the start over Andy Wendt and Corey Funk as Jung, Chris Ratajczyk, Ryan DeStefano, and Jerry Eckhardt battled behind them. At the completion of the first lap, contact between Eckhardt and DeStefano triggered a multi-car incident in turn one that also caught up Dan Bowe and Scott Apel as the event quickly fell under the yellow flag. James once again led as racing resumed with Wendt glued to his rear bumper while Funk tried hard to hold back Ratajczyk and Jung. As Wendt  remained stuck to James’ bumper, the action heated up behind them as Funk’s car kicked loose exiting turn four and he spun into the infield as Ratajczyk and Jung raced by. The race stayed under the green flag and Wendt began to pressure James hard for the top spot, using several light taps to try to get position on the inside lane. As the laps wound down, Jung and Ratajczyk took to the high groove and moved alongside James and Wendt in two-by-two formation for the  top four spots. James held his ground on the inside and both he and Jung remained door to door for several laps until the leaders began to approach lapped traffic. With six laps to go, Jung was able to take command of the race as James became picked behind a lapped car. Once out front, Jung streaked ahead to take the win over James and Ratajczyk while Wendt and Jon Reynolds Jr. completed the top five.

Dave McCardle took the victory in the limited late model fast dash and Reynolds Jr. was the fastest qualifier at 12.389 seconds.

(6-10-07) Slinger Speedway. Rough night for the Rat Racing team, here's the scoop from Dan Margetta

Jon Reynolds Jr. took the lead just past the halfway mark and drove to victory in the 30-lap limited late model feature.

Chris Blawat paced the early laps and used the inside line to keep Reynolds Jr. at bay while Dave McCardle, Scott Ascher, and Chris Ratajczyk fought for positions behind them. Reynolds tried the outside lane numerous times, but was unsuccessful in completing the pass for the lead in the first ten laps as a spin by Rob Braun brought out the caution flag. Blawat once again remained glued to the inside on the restart and once again held back Reynolds as the event slowed under the caution flag again on lap 12 when Corey Funk spun and collected Jerry Eckhardt in turn two. The inside line again proved to be advantageous as Blawat held onto his lead over Reynolds while Dan Jung was able to work his way up and into third. Behind the lead duo, McCardle and Ascher staged a spirited duel over the fourth spot that ended on lap 16 when contact between the two sent both spinning between turns three and four. Behind them, Chris Ratajczyk bounced hard off the wall while taking evasive action and when the smoke cleared, the cars of Mike McCabe and Bill Shavlik were also involved in the incident.  This time as racing resumed, Reynolds was able to get a good run on the outside and pulled even with Blawat as they headed into turn one. The good start enabled Reynolds to clear Blawat’s car and take the lead on lap 17. With Reynolds pulling away out front, Jung began to root at Blawat for second, finally edging to the inside to take the spot two laps later. With Blawat moved up off the inside, he fell into the clutches of Jim Schmittinger and Jerry Eckhardt and both were able to pass by, dropping Blawat to fifth in the closing stages. In the final laps, Jung was able to pull to Reynolds rear bumper at the finish line as Reynolds scored the win. Schmittinger finished in third place ahead of Eckhardt and Blawat.

 (5-27-07) Slinger Speedway

Kyle Jarlsberg started from the outside of row one and cruised to the win in the limited late model feature, leading all 30 laps.  Tenth starting Jon Reynolds, Jr charged to the runner-up spot with Scott Ascher rounding out the top three.  Jerry Eckhardt finished fourth while current point leader, Chris Ratajczyk, finished fifth.

Four cautions slowed the event behind Jarlsberg forcing Ratajczyk to take evasive action on nearly every one.

Earlier, Reynolds, Jr drove to victory in the limited late model fast dash and Ratajczyk paced qualifying by lapping the speedway in 12.520 seconds.

Ratajczyk attended the ASA Late Model 100 lapper at Jefferson with "Go Racin with Rat" winner Jay Gindt of

Slinger. Jay received a soda, small popcorn and 1/2 a Cheeseburger, and still considers Pete Wiedmeyer his

favorite  Late Model driver.

The next "Go Racin with Rat" Contest will be soon, drop in after the races for an entry blank.
