Chris' Racing History
Chris is a second generation driver, following in his father "Rapid" Robert Ratajczyk's Footsteps.
"Rapid Robert at speed and in his restored
Modified at Hales Corners Speedway"
Robert's racing took him to Wisconsin, Michigan and Canada from 1950 thru 1975.
"Chris was hooked on racing at a young age"
Chris' next step in racing was helping his brother in law, Jim Grzanna. Jim raced from 1967 thru 2001.
When Jim retired, he helped Chris on his late model with shop space and needed parts/advice on his late
model effort.
Chris also was a crew member for Fred Winn and his 75 car. Fred still races at Slinger Speedway every
Sunday night, and it's always fun to trade paint with a car i used to crew on.
"Its all about winning.. and the rewards!"
In 1991,after a successful stint in super stock racing, Mr Ratajczyk purchased his first Late Model,
a Rander Car with a Buick regal body, and for the next 14+ years,Chris has been a front runner at
Slinger,Wisconsin Dells, Columbus 151 and other racetracks.
Chris has also been restoring modifieds, with his father's car complete and another car in the process
of completion to compete at Vintage Modified races throughout the Midwest as time permits.
