(9-24-06) Rockford, IL Tony Strupp wins the Last Chance Race
Tony Strupp pushed his way around Matt Merrell to win the Last Chance Race and start The Chicago International Trucks 200 in the 27th position. Following Merrell for several laps Strupp bumped him in successive corners before nearly spinning both cars. After a warning for rough driving Strupp successfully completed a softer bump and run on the the 13th lap to take the win.
Merrell was the "Lucky Dog Draw" winner and takes the green flag in the 28th position.
(9-10-06) St Lawrence, WI. Tony Strupp will be racing the National Short Track Championships Sept. 22nd-24th at the
famed Rockford Speedway.
Tony made it into the 250 lap event last fall, actually October 29th after a rainout, and was steadily moving to the front
passing his way to 9th when he and the 5 car had issues and he went to the back to do it all again.
While running 11th, contact again caused damage to the 12 car, and they called it a day 25 laps short.
(9-10-06) Slinger Speedway has been rained out as Mike had the E 85 car ready to rumble and the Pathfinder was all ready
and re-fitted for Angela Cope to race. Watch out for these young ladies, they'll be in the winners circle !!!!!
(Slinger, WI) September 6, 2006 - Angela and Amber Cope are scheduled to return to Slinger Speedway
this weekend. The twins made their first appearance at the track on August 27, 2006 during the Sundance
Vacations 65. Angela and Amber represented Sundance Vacations at the company’s booth early on in the
night where they signed autographs and greeted fans upon entry. Later in the evening, the girls waved the
green flag at the start of the race and congratulated the winner and the conclusion.

This week, the girls are back for more! Both will still appear at the
Sundance Vacations booth prior to racing
festivities on September 10th. However, this time around, Angela will be on the track racing in the Hi Rev
Performance Season Championships. Sundance Vacations has reached an agreement with Tony Strupp,
of Strupp Enterprises, to rent a Late Model Stock Car and put Angela in the driver’s seat. The car Angela
will be driving posted an impressive finish last week. After starting in the 20th position, the car finished fourth.
(9-3-06) Slinger Super Speedway
Nick Schumacher led the opening laps while Schill, Dennis Prunty, and Conrad Morgan followed.
Schumacher paced the first seven laps before stalling on the speedway with mechanical problems,
producing the first caution flag and handing the lead to Schill. Schill led Prunty and Morgan on the
restart with Tony Strupp, Lowell Bennett, and Mike Strupp holding down the rest of the top five positions.
Prunty tried to pressure Schill for the lead, but soon he too experienced mechanial issues, leaving the
speedway on lap ten. With Schill continuing to show the way, Morgan and Tony Strupp fought hard over
the second spot and their aggressive racing eventually led to a multi-car spin in turn three involving
Mike Strupp and Matt Kocourek as the caution flew again on lap 12.
Tony later had the transmission lock up and retired, while Mike limped around with front end damage.
In the Limited Late Models, Chris Ratajczyk guest drove the 5 Corners Dodge Intrepid and after breaking
a rocker arm in practice, he started dead last in the main and charged to a 4th place finish.

"Tony wins the Dash ! "
(8-20-06) Slinger Speedway. Mike hauled the E 85 Monte Carlo to Slinger and had a rough night, getting caught
up in a bad crash inflicting heavy damage to the car. He will probably miss this upcoming week preparing for the
Labor Day event. Stay Tuned!! Season standings to date.

(7-18-06) Slinger Nationals. Tony brought out the new-used Lefthander for the first time and battled handling then
wiring issues. The team will get used to what a Lefthander wants and race as time permits for the rest of 2006...probably
alot of year specials.
Mike has a new sponsor, E-85 fuel, and will be traveling a bit more to get the fuel maximum exposure to the fans.

(6-25-06) The 10 car started out 12th quick in time with Mike turning an 11.452. In the main, the #1 car slowed
suddenly, and Mike made contact then was rear ended and his night was over at 19th.
Eric Fransen again drove the Five Corners Dodge Powered Intrepid , garnering fast time honors with a 12.336.
He followed it up with a 5th in the fast dash. In the main, the 12 car was tagged and slid sideways and was tagged
and hit the wall.... inflicting heavy damage to the front and rear of the car.
In other news, Tony has a Lefthander...details to follow.
(6-11-06) Slinger Speedway. all 3 Strupp cars were active at Slinger, Mike started out 7th quick in the 10 car, but a flat
Right Rear ruined his night, finishing 16th in the 75 lapper.
Eric Fransen raced the 12 LLM Dodge to a 3rd in time, 4th in the dash and 6th in the Feature.
Tony drove the Rander-Dodge, broke the rear end in hot laps, the team rushed to the shop to get parts, repaired the car
and after some pleading, timed in 19th at a 11.559, just missing the feature.
In the semi, the team adjusted to the changes made and the Tiger flew to 2nd place and advanced to the main.

The team found something for the top groove, as the car was charging to the front Al Schill was avoiding a slowing 89 car,
and basically launched the Tiger airborne, destroying what was a perfect car.
Tony has a wrist injury that will hopefully heal fast, just drink your milk like your mom said Strupp.
We'd also like to send our condolences to the family of Darwin Steldt. Dar was always at the shop and we'll miss him:(
(5-28-06) Slinger Speedway. All 3 cars head off to EH Wolf Night, huge crowd, Mike times in well, Tony misses the show by 1 car
and struggles in the semi, and Eric Fransen puts the LLM in the dash but a failed bolt ends his run in the feature.

(5-25-06) St Lawrence, WI. Strupp Enterprises will have 3 cars at EH Wolf Night at Slinger Speedway, the 10 and 12 cars
with Tony and Mike in the Super's, and a guest driver in the silver #12 LLM. The LLM will boast a brand new DODGE
powerplant , while Mike will continue the Vortec Program from Schwanke. Get there early for a good seat and stop by after.
(5-21-06) Slinger Speedway. Alan Kulwicki Memorial, a chilly night and a cold finish for the 12 car, 17th after a mid race tangle.

(Slinger, WI) May 14, 2006 – With rain, and cool temperatures forecast all day and into the evening The Culver's of Jackson Mothers Day Special has been postponed. It seems fitting on Mothers day that a Mom wins at Slinger Speedway, it just wasn't supposed to be Mother Nature.
(5-7-06) Slinger Speedway. Sausage Night at the Speedway, Tony starts out 6th in time with an 11.481.
In the dash, the Tiger won, but some bumper damage would haunt him later.
"Tighten it up a bit" barked the elder Strupp, but too tight was the result and the afformentioned bumper
fell off causing a black flag and a 20th place finish.

(4-30-06) (St Lawrence, WI) Slinger's Races Have Been Cancelled for today...we need rain....when we are sleeping!
(4-23-06)
By Dan Margetta
“I may have gotten lucky there when the outside groove didn’t go,” the 61-year old Schill exclaimed afterwards. “We took our 1997 car and had it redone for this season…just replaced the body and a few crooked pieces. I can hardly imagine it myself but it looks like we may having something for them this year.”
Rich Loch and Nick Schumacher led the field of the first feature to the green and Schumacher sprinted to the early lead as Josh Bauer, Travis Dassow, and Rich Bickle quickly filled the inside groove, leaving Loch hung out up top. On lap nine, Loch’s car began to slip off the corner and he made hard side-to-side contact with Bickle while exiting turn four as the field remained under the green flag. The impact was enough to damage Bickle’s machine severely enough that he was forced to retire from the event as Schumacher continued to maintain his lead over Dassow, Bauer, and Schill who had worked his way into the top five after starting from the sixth row. Further back, Jeremy Lepak along with Dennis and David Prunty began to maneuver their way toward the front, entering the top ten just before the first caution flag waved on lap 21 for a tangle involving Matt Kocourek, Brad Mueller, and Colin Bamke in turn three.
Schill went to work on the restart, positioning himself to the inside of Bauer and taking the third spot by lap 25 while Schumacher continued to hold off Dassow for the lead. Two laps later, Schill once again used the inside to snag second place from Dassow and then used the same move entering turn three on lap 31 to move around Schumacher for the lead. Behind the lead trio, David Prunty began to look to the inside of Lepak in a battle over the fourth spot, which culminated in the second caution flag of the race when Lepak spun in turn two after contact between the two cars. Schill once again edged out front on the restart while Dassow dove to the inside of Schumacher in an attempt to take second. Dassow’s effort paid off on lap 37 as he was able to take the spot, dropping Schumacher to third ahead of Dennis Prunty and Tony Strupp.
With Schill continuing to lead, Prunty began to close in on Dassow and Schumacher while Dave Feiler advanced into the top five by lap 38 just before the field was slowed for a third time following a spin by Gary LaMonte in turn three. It was business as usual on the restart for Schill as he edged ahead of the field, leaving Dassow, Schumacher and Prunty to battle for second place. Dassow’s car skidded up the track in turn four on lap 44 after receiving a slight tap in the bumper and both Schumacher and Prunty were pass by into second and third place respectively. With Schill comfortably out front, Prunty began to pressure Schumacher for second place, taking the position with a bump-and-run type move on lap 61. Once into second, Prunty tried to track down Schill but was unable to close in as Schill took the checkered flag for the win with Prunty having to settle for second. Schumacher finished in third place while Dassow and Feiler rounded out the top five finishers. Loch finished in sixth place ahead of Lowell Bennett, visiting NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Erik Darnell, Jeremy Lepak, and Randy Schuler.
David Prunty dominated the second 75-lap late model feature, leading every lap en route to the commanding victory.
“It was a goal of ours to lead all those laps, “Prunty stated from Victory Lane, referring to the lap-leading bonus he collected courtesy of T & M Landscaping. “This car is good but it’s not perfect yet…just wait until next week.”
Prunty and Nathan Haseleu occupied the front row at the start as Prunty and Brad Mueller used the outside lane to pull ahead, leaving Haseleu to battle with Gary LaMonte, Tony Strupp, Matt Kocourek, and Lowell Bennett for third. The handling on Haseleu’s machine began to fade and he slipped back, eventually leaving the track for adjustments on lap 14 while Prunty and Mueller hooked up to pull away from the field. The first caution flag appeared on lap 17 when Dennis Prunty rode the turn one wall, hitting hard enough to launch the car on two wheels before having it land back down on all four tires.
As racing resumed, David Prunty and Mueller maintained their lead while LaMonte, Kocourek, and Strupp ran side-by-side for third as Bennett, Jeremy Lepak, Al Schill, and Rich Bickle followed close behind. Kocourek moved to the inside of LaMonte to grab third place on lap 25 just prior to the second yellow flag of the event which flew on lap 31 following a spin by Strupp in turn two while battling for fifth place. Prunty pulled away on the restart while Kocourek began to pressure Mueller for second as Schill and Bickle worked their way forward in the waning laps. A late caution on lap 65 for a spin by Mark Bitzan set up a ten lap run toward the finish, but no one had anything for Prunty as he steadily drove to the win ahead of Mueller who held off Kocourek for second. Schill finished in fourth place ahead of Bennett and Bickle. Gary LaMonte completed a strong run with a seventh place finish while Jeremy Lepak, Dave Feiler, and Rich Loch rounded out the top ten.
