(4-10-04)Wisconsin Dells .Tony and the 12 team head out to the Dells for the WCS 100 in Cold conditions
and start out well timing 14th out of 55....55 Late Models.In the 100 lap main,The Tiger works his way
into the top 10 and one by one makes his way to 4th at the checkered,what a way to start 2004!!!

(4-25-04) Slinger Speedway Twin 75's. Mike and Tony head out to the 1/4 mile,Mike trying out
the new Schwanke Sealed Crate engine,a low rpm powerplant,and it took time to figure out the
gearing,timing in 34th out of 39 cars.In the semi,Mike was out front until a cut tire forced him
to the pits,ending up 12th.
Tony took the 12 car(Pathfinder) to the track and had a 11.718 in time trials,had some bad luck
in the main's and finished 16th and 19th .The new RanderCar is getting finished,should be done
soon!

(5-2-04) Slinger Speedway Season Opener...Mike qualifys best of the cars with an 11.545,
good enough for 16th. In the main,he finished 20th,still sorting out the new engine combo.
Tony timed in 29th with an 11.722 and took 9th in the semi.

(5-9-04) Slinger Speedway Mothers day 60....25 degrees warmer then last week.In timing,
Tony takes 16th,turning an 11.633,and moves up 6 spots to 10th in the 60 lapper.
Mike times in 21st,turning an 11.716,and in the 30 lap semi charges towards the front
close to the 1-2 transfer spots but gets blocked for several laps and finally nudges
the offending party clear but gets put to the rear,rebounds back to 10th and runs out of laps.

(5-16-04)Slinger Speedway Mike and Tony take in Al Schill Jr memorial night at the 1/4 mile,
and Mike starts out beating dad in timing 11.506-11.523...good for 16th and 18th.
In the 60 lap main,Mike starts 16th and is on a mission,passing cars with his rev limiter
popping like cinema corn a brewing,and moves up to challenge for 8th when a plug wire melts
at the coil and 7 cylinders dropped him back to 10th at the finish.One word..FAST!
The 12 car was on a simular mission,passing several cars only to fade at the end to post
a 12th on the scoreboard,and a toasted rear end.

(5-23-04) Slinger Races rained(flooded) out tonight. Mike readies for the EH Wolf Night
while Tony preps for Slinger and the WCS at Plover Memorial day.

(5-30 and 5-31-04) Slinger Speedway. Mike watches the rain gauge fill and misses another
week of racing....stop the rain dances already..the Schwanke is getting restless.

(5-31-04) Golden Sands Speedway,Plover...WCS race 2. Tony,sitting 4th in points,starts
out 24th in time out of 50 cars..man was it tight in timing.He the finishes 2nd in his 30 lap

qualifier.In the main,the 12 car starts good but turns to garbage and the result..start 19th,
finish 17th.....next stop..Jefferson next Sunday afternoon.
